Welcome to Café Nene, a locally owned breakfast & lunch restaurant in the heart of Waikīkī, inspired by Hawaiʻi’s beloved Nēnē goose and built around a simple idea: serve fresh, hearty food, exceptional coffee, and genuine Hawaiian hospitality in a relaxed open-air setting.

Start your morning with our Signature Eggs Benedict, including the Waikīkī SPAM Benedict, Diamond Head Avocado Benedict, and Garden Island Benedict, or try one of our new Breakfast Burritos, Nene Morning Sourdough Sandwich, or Signature Avocado Toast—all made fresh to order.
🌯 Looking for something hearty and easy to enjoy? Our Waikīkī Breakfast Burrito combines Black Forest ham, scrambled egg and cheddar, while our Avocado Breakfast Burrito features avocado, scrambled egg, cheddar and fresh tomato. Both are served with red salsa.
☕ Great food deserves great coffee. We proudly serve 100% Kona Coffee, locally roasted by Tradition Coffee Roasters in Kailua, Hawaiʻi. Enjoy classic espresso, cappuccino and lattes or try our signature CocoMac Latte and Nene Golden Latte, handcrafted to order.
